Beneath this calm exterior is a mind moving like a monkey dipped in fire ants. I love solving challenges with creativity.

A client once said I have a velvet backbone – strong and kind aren’t mutually exclusive. I direct well, but nothing beats leading by example. Working in a team is deeply rewarding and nurturing talent is wonderfully fulfilling. Integrity matters. So does compassion and understanding.

When vying for attention, smart beats loud every time. Champion the underdogs. Simple is best. Truth is always better than fiction. The best advice anyone ever gave me was, Live a beautiful life and let beautiful things come to you.

I’m allergic to bee stings, wide-legged pants, and complacency. One time, I shaved my head for charity. I have a dog named Cinco Jones, but no favorite color, nor cuisine. I’m having an outrageous affair with the English language. And pop culture. And sharing stories.
